A featured teller at the National Storytelling Festival and the Smithsonian Folk Life Festival, Lepp has been telling original, fantastical stories written by himself and his brother for fifteen years. The fact that he is also an ordained Methodist Minister lends him a unique perspective, sometimes knocking your socks off with his interpretation of the Good Book. Many of the tales take place in the great outdoors of Colorado, Mississippi and the good ol’ West Virginia hills. You’ll hear about his superdog Buck; deer hunting Detroit-style; and some car trouble with the sheriff. Many of the stories are about getting out of scrapes using good old Mountaineer ingenuity. His popular, funny stories have made Bil a featured storyteller at festivals all over the country.
