The King Of Little Things

from King Of Little Things by Bil Lepp

about

The King of Little Things: This story was inspired by my son, Noah. He and I were playing upstairs one time, when he was about five years old. He said, “Let’s play Kingdoms.” I agreed, and then he started grabbing up toys for his kingdom. Trouble was, he was taking all the big stuff for his realm. Large trucks, dinosaurs, big cannons, the giant castle….I asked, “What do I get?” He said, “You can have the little stuff. You can be the King of Little Things.” What a cool idea, I thought to myself.
