Das Buck
This is the last story with which I won the West Virginia Liars' Contest. I think I started the story thinking that I would do something about Buck-dog and the Titanic, but somewhere along the way I stumbled across the idea of Buck as a submarine, and the idea of dog kayaking. Buck-dog is named for one of Jack London's classic literary dogs, so it seemed just to finally include Jack London in one of my tales. This story first appeared in my book, Inept: Impaired: Overwhelmed.
